Theory Test

Theory Tests cost £25; Clients must correctly answer 43 questions out of 50 from the ‘question bank’ and score a minimum of 44 marks out of 75 to pass the hazard perception section.

We systematically incorporate elements of theory training throughout the course of each lesson.

Practical Test

Practical tests cost £62 and can only be booked using the 9-digit number on the theory pass certificate.
Tests are normally booked by us to avoid diary clashes.

The test involves 38 - 40 minutes driving in varying road and traffic  conditions, 10 minutes of independent driving and incorporates a  reverse manoeuvre. You may also be asked to perform the 'Controlled  emergency stop'.

On the day of your practical test the lesson commences one hour before: this normally allows sufficient time to practice the reverse manoeuvres and arrive at the test centre 10 minutes before the start.  You must have your driving licence to hand and successfully read a number plate from 20 metres.
The DSA examiner will disclose the result of the test shortly after you return to the test centre.
